[as usual, Akechi watches as the injured tumble out of those doors and back into the castle. and as usual, he keeps his distance, and doesn't approach or fret or even offer to help in order to avoid the crowds that gather around them]

[ She's very much covered in bandages and sitting because her legs hurt. ]

[might as well begin this interaction with pleasantries, right?]

[ Nah, pleasantries are overrated. ]

Everything's finally stopped bleeding, so I think that's improvement.

That. . . tends to be an improvement, yes. Did you see someone with healing abilities for your injuries?

Not exactly. I'll have to do something about that soon.

Just because you "have to" doesn't mean you will. Am I right?

... If the cost of the healing is a price I'm not willing to pay, then yes. You're right.

There are those who can heal without steep prices. Or so I understand.

... Really? I wasn't sure if that was the case for anyone here.

I believe it depends. You should seek out the one known as the King's Man.

It's-- mmm. El Melloi. He may be a bit cranky that I outed his role to you, but he has healing abilities. He assisted Eichi the other week.

Oh-- he helped Stephanie too, didn't he?

... I'm glad there are people here with abilities that actually do help.

[ You know. Unlike Sharpay, who'd used that to commit a crime, thanks Sharpay. ]

[he actually doesn't know if Waver did but he wouldn't be surprised]

It varies. . . just like it does for any narrative. I imagine most of the Heroes have helpful abilities, while the Villains have harmful ones. Civilians may be able to go either way.

[discardia]

That's true. I'm sure the people I couldn't save wouldn't kill my power a kind one.

[ SHE'S GOING TO FEEL BAD ABOUT THAT FOREVER. ]

I was wondering what sorts of limitations your ability would have. If there was only a specific amount of pairs you could save.

. . . I suppose we all now know that it's best for there to be no more than two "loose ends" at the end of a trial.

I'm sorry. I wanted to say something sooner, but I really didn't know who I should be telling back then.

What's done is done. And we now know for the future.

Underwater? We had limited air, but there were sunken ships and we had to help the souls lost there.

I'm not entirely sure what happened to Sousei and Magnus, though. Sanji and I were separated from them.
