[Akechi was around for the headcount. he lingered long enough to confirm the corpses as Jae-Ha and Sousei. and after that? he vanishes]

[but he can be found again later that night, in their shared room, sitting on the edge of the bed with a folded piece of paper in hand. he's staring at it with a distance expression, but is also clutching it so tightly it's getting kind of crinkled]

I suppose you wouldn't, after how much you've done to save me. This game of cat and mouse... it's quite fun. We change roles back and forth and it never gets boring, does it? Not even when I'm so thoroughly caught.
