But I've discovered how to reach a "happy ending" for this game. I've also learned about the other extra titles, much like our own, that exist in this war game.

That's correct. Allow me to question Di Angelo. I believe I can at least get his faction out of him, if not the entire title.

I was using your identities as leverage, to try and coax the other Vizier out of him. There goes that attempt.

Oh. [ Maybe he should have denied being a Historian so Akechi could keep his leverage and pile on the pressure, but it's really hard to deny it when Belph goes up to him and the first words out of his mouth are "Hey Natsuo! You're a Historian, yeah?" Yeah. ]

I can ask him tomorrow? He told me the Villains without any trouble, but maybe the Vizier is more of a secret.

He said he was sworn to secrecy about the extra roles. It's not that he doesn't trust you- [she waves at Akechi.] which you don't make it easy for people anyway, he just can't.

You know, how we can't tell everybody we're Historians in public? I think it might be like that.

Anyway, he said in a few days he might be able to tell us who sent those letters out.

It was Varian-san. He signed the letter "a friend."

Oh, that kid. I talked to him on Monday. [What a weird half lying conversation she had to go through. Oh well, she's had practice.]

Did you not tell him that we were sending out that letter or...? Did he just want to double up to make it sound more convincing?

I believe he had made his plans before I told him about our letter.

In the end, I don't think having it confirmed from two separate sources was a bad thing. And the jars are exceedingly clever.

Yeah, I think it was a good outcome. Hearing it twice means they're more likely to actually believe it. I've gotten calls to help Evan, Hikage and an unknown Civilian with their objectives... I think it's Cardia since it involves pumpkins.

Eichi came to tell me that he's the Shield, and that somebody asked him to use it for somebody specific. He was warning me not to think he's the real victim if he turns up dead- [ which was really hard to listen to and his face scrunches up even now. ]

He used Zelos as an example, but I guess it's 'cause he's an obvious target...
