Yeah? I guess Yona fits with the letters I've seen, since she tries to sign her name... Can't say I've heard of them before, though.

Yes. And having to kill "extraneous" Narrators would be considered a detestable job to most.

One of them-- Hamada-san-- was found out, and voted guilty at trial.

But the Crafters did not execute him, despite his guilt. In fact, there was no execution at all that week.

Why are you giving me that look? It isn't as though I made the active choice for Editors to be given preferential treatment.

The explanation for their lack of inclusion in the number of "guilty" each week, as well as their exception from execution, is that they're working on orders handed down directly by Tiger-san and Dragon-san themselves.

Then again. . . so are the Blotters.

Well, presumably, if you're a Blotter once, you won't be a Blotter again—unless there's something you want to tell me, detective...? Anyway, in comparison, it seems like the Editors have to do their job relatively often, which puts them at a greater risk of getting caught, so maybe it's to... even the playing field?

No. You're correct. You're only a Blotter once, as far as I know.

That would make sense. The memory did end with the Crafters saying that Hamada-san wouldn't be safe from execution the following week. So I suppose they only get one exception.

Think about it this way. Should two people die this coming week, that leaves two others without partners. Someone will then be executed, leaving a third person unattached. One of those three will most certainly die in that scenario.

But, say. . . we vote for an Editor. They'll be given a free pass that week, won't they? And that would spare our loose ends from being snipped off at the execution on Sunday.

... Of course, though, this is contingent on an Editor willing to reveal themselves. Who's going to do that when there are people out for their blood? Including you, might I point out.
