[jerks his head up, blinking owlishly at Shirasu]

[his expression turns resigned]

[wagashis]

-firstly, I suppose I should say I wouldn't have questioned your partner, had I known.

[that didn't do much to help and it got eichi outed... of course shirasu didn't mind getting information, but he still manages to look somewhat apologetic.]

But I also meant to ask... was it Ion who told you, as well?

[doublecrows]

[blinks a bit, processing the question]

About his objective. . .?

[wagashis]

About the wish, I mean.

[he didn't realize anyone else had been informed until akechi said it.]

[he eyes Shirasu with a slight hint of suspicion in his expression]

No. It was someone else who told me.

[wagashis]

[well, then. shirasu notes that suspicion, but he just tilts his head a bit, then gives it a slight shake, not visibly reacting to it.]

I see. Regardless, thank you; I had no idea how many others might have known, and thought that I might have to speak for leaving him alive on my own. It's something of a relief that it wasn't the case, even if... the results of all this are unfortunate.

Were either you or Belph-san chosen as Blotters this week?

[kind of. blunt]

[wagashis]

[-ah. he breathes out a soft huff of a laugh there at the bluntness of it, and shakes his head.]

Neither of us were chosen, no.

[he seems satisfied with that response]
