Dragon-san was very clear about that, wasn't she? Their fates are out of our hands.

But they have to be in someone's hands.... there has has to be something we can still do....

I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately, but "patience is a virtue." We have no choice but to trust in a faceless Narrator to save Jae-Ha-san and Sousei-san for us.

I hope you're right.

[ fidgets with her hair, now. ] You're right. But.. it's more than just that. We have to find a way to escape from this cruel game -- to end it, so no one else gets hurts.

Why did they even bring us here? What's this war--- why do they need us for it? None of it makes sense.

We're still only at the beginning of our narrative, Rapunzel-san. It wouldn't make sense for us to have those answers yet.

I suppose you're right. But I hate the idea of sitting around and waiting for them to start giving us answers while people are dying.

What about outside? We were actually out of the castle for the trial, so maybe we've got more to explore now.

Unfortunately, due to our limited access to the outdoors, I haven't conducted a proper investigation there just yet. Rest assured that as soon as I can, I intend to take a look around.

Nothing to do but try! I think you're right, though, we do need to try to understand our situation better. What they want from us... and all that.

I do have a few theories on that, actually. Particularly after Evans confirmed a few things we spoke of immediately proceeding her murder.
