[Week 1, Monday: Sousei]
[we haven't finished our Sunday PC but fuck it this is Important]
[as Sosuei patrols the halls on Monday night, a familiar voice calls out to him from the shadows of a corner]
You certainly are a night owl, Sousei-san.
[it's Akechi! Sousei you poor soul. but he is keeping his distance and remains tucked underneath said shadows so it's kind of hard to make his figure out in the dim lighting. hm. sketch]

This is very good.
[Honestly! And then he will get his thoughts in order so he can offer up:]
I will add to that. Though we have remembered much, they have confirmed that we have not yet remembered everything we've forgotten from the previous game. Dragon's version of a "happy ending" is one in which everyone has fulfilled their given tasks, for better or for worse.
The ability that was used to save myself and Jae-ha was that of a title, not a role. From here on out, they will be explicitly choosing people to commit murder each week. She simply stated that there would be "more". Those chosen may or may not be Historians as well; she stated that no role is protected from that possibility.
And Sharpay's objective was to "kill another with a shoe", which fits her role as Cinderella. [apparently?? He doesn't know that fairy tale, it was after his time.]

[he also jots what Sousei says down, before speaking up again]
You're right, it does. In a twisted, morbid way. But I suspect that everyone's objectives are related to their titles in some morbid fashion.
[comforting?]
Evans also mentioned to me that she was "chosen," presumably by the Crafters. I wonder. . . what incentives do they have in place to force those "picked" to commit murder?
no subject
They refused to tell me. I already asked.
[...]
That said, I don't think it's very important. They clearly already know a great deal about us. It is no great stretch to think they'd be able to come up with a reward or punishment that we cannot refuse.

[a small, tiny sigh]
Wishes in general can be powerful motivators. . . when there is the promise that they can be granted.
no subject
[Just.
Bluntly going to put that out there!!]
no subject
I'm motivated by my sense of justice.
[hm]

[Oh.]
I am not stupid.

[he says pleasantly]
But you're free to interpret the meaning how you choose.
[it seems like he isn't too keen on giving a straight answer]

[For... now...]
Cheesy as you occasionally come across.

[there's a moment where Akechi frowns, brows wrinkled, the pleasant expression vanishing for something sharper. but he recovers quickly]
I do give interviews on talk shows rather frequently. Sometimes it's hard to remember I'm not on camera.
no subject
I see.
[Hm.]
Well. It might do you good to talk more with the people here. [bond, fucker]
no subject
That's what I've been doing. I've come to know several people fairly well in my time here so far.
no subject
[Huh, maladjusted child? Not that he knows Akechi's that fucked up, but he does know something is Not Quite Right here.]
no subject
[c: PROUD!!]
And have a general overview of their personalities and motivations.
[so, yes. maladjusted child]

[...]
That is not even remotely what I meant.
no subject
Why not? It is our duty here to unearth objectives and encourage their completion, right?
no subject
But that was not what I was referring to when I stated you should get to know people.
no subject
What did you mean?
no subject
no subject
[?????]
[??????????????]
[that's it that's the tag]
no subject
... Is it truly that alien an idea to you?
[Even he's not this socially stunted, Akechi...]

I'm not here to make friends. I don't think any of us are, Sousei-san.
no subject
Sousei shakes his head, and when he responds, his tone is surprisingly mild.]
I am not saying that you must go try to make friends with all of the people around us.
But speaking with them... with the intent of making some sort of connection beyond simply that of our task is part of being human.
[...]
Without that, I imagine you must be quite lonely.
no subject
Shut up. What do you know?
[-- except he catches himself a moment later and turns away, clearing his throat as he recollects his composure]
For now, I think our meeting is finished. I'll share whatever else I learn with you, seeing as we're now allies. Can I trust the same from you?
