[ He pauses and considers that, but that answer (probably unsurprisingly) comes easier. ]

...Well, yes, that would be fine. I quite hate them.

[a chuckle]

I thought that might get your attention. Very well. Tell me a tall tale, about the Crafters and I'll ensure it spreads around his manor like wildfire.

[faceripper]

[ His posture shifts to quite thoughtful, and he really does give this intense consideration. And yet. What he comes up with is, well, ]

That this is all a lover's spat we've been drawn into. I would love to undermine their idiotic pursuits as much as possible.

[doublecrows]

[a gentle gasp]

Is that so? My, what important information! I'll see to it that the other Narrators are informed of this immediately.

[faceripper]

[ Fane laughs, and even though it's still clipped, it's clear that his amusement is genuine. ]

Good. I may not be able to actually spit on them, as I lack the necessary fluid, but I hope this carries that sentiment to them.
