[AND SO, history repeats itself, and the long-awaited reunion of the past murder game's alumni occurs. . .]

[Akechi is already there by the time people start filing in, his parchment sitting in his lap, quill tucked between his fingers. he doesn't say anything at first, but PRESUMING at some point he and Natsuo exchanged Historian names with each other and then told the others who was part of this group so they'd all know prior to the meeting, he nods at each one in turn]

I imagine you all have been quite busy these past two weeks?

[ Not even sort of, for Natsuo, who'd spent half of last week stabbed and asleep, and the rest of the days all felt like a blur of yelling and crying. ]

I thought I was doing well, and now I'm back at square one!

[ Yeah! Those objectives he's learned about? Means nothing anymore. ]

[and Akechi, of course, immediately asks]

Why is that?

'cause the only progress I made was with Rebecca and Dave! And they're both... you know.

[ A Historian and Dead, respectively. ]

Heh, sorry I'm not pulling my weight.

[doublecrows]

[. . . ah, well. Akechi wrinkles his nose]

If it makes you feel any better, I've been collecting objectives but have yet to help anyone complete them.

[he frequently feels like a child who forgot their homework in his meetings with the Crafters]

[ Natsuo just goes to the Crafters to chat... not even thinking about homework when he goes to see them. ]

That's why we do this as a team! You shake the info out of people, and the rest of us swoop in and help get them done! The other people don't have to know we're helping!

[WHO IS GOING TO TRUST A KILLER WITH THAT KIND OF INFO, THO. . .]

Some of the information I've obtained isn't just about objectives, too. I'll be sharing my notes with everyone once we've all arrived and settled in.

[ MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE KILLED!!! or at least denied Ann's condemnations better. ]

You found out enough that you have to take notes to keep track of it all...?

[ Natsuo's found nothing. Hmm. ]

[Sousei wasn't taking notes either?? ya'll???? Akechi is like that really nerdy smart kid in class that everyone hates]

No. I keep everything in my head. There's plenty of space in there.

[ BECAUSE IT'S OTHERWISE EMPTY INSIDE ]

[HE. . . he won't say anything mean. Natsuo has been nice to him. be nice back, Akechi]

How many beds has he managed so far?

[ Natsuo flashes her a victory sign!

aka he's only managed the two. ]

Just one more! Souji says it's okay if I come over, so I've got that to look forward to! I'm almost done!

[Two thumbs up!! Good job, Natsuo!

That also means he's not really at square one.]

[ He's in square 1.2, almost to the next square, but there's never really a good time for it, he's found. It's something that'll happen eventually, though, so his is an objective that he isn't worried about completing at all. ]
