[AND SO, history repeats itself, and the long-awaited reunion of the past murder game's alumni occurs. . .]

[Akechi is already there by the time people start filing in, his parchment sitting in his lap, quill tucked between his fingers. he doesn't say anything at first, but PRESUMING at some point he and Natsuo exchanged Historian names with each other and then told the others who was part of this group so they'd all know prior to the meeting, he nods at each one in turn]

I imagine you all have been quite busy these past two weeks?

[She takes a seat nearby and nods back at him when he nods at her.

As for busy, she gives a little motion of her flatted hand. "Sort of" because clearly she hasn't been as busy as Akechi has.]

[. . . OKAY, THAT'S FAIR??]

Ah-- hello, Bunch.

[awkward. she's the only one in this group he hasn't spoken to since his, uh. murder]

[She waves at him, then opens up a fairy tale book she's been carrying around.

"Little Mermaid" and points at herself. Hopefully he can understand what she means with that.]

[ People had better be cool with the murder?? Natsuo not so subtly lurks behind Akechi at all times, like a shadow waiting to jump on anybody who says otherwise. ]

[ Not even sort of, for Natsuo, who'd spent half of last week stabbed and asleep, and the rest of the days all felt like a blur of yelling and crying. ]

I thought I was doing well, and now I'm back at square one!

[ Yeah! Those objectives he's learned about? Means nothing anymore. ]

[and Akechi, of course, immediately asks]

Why is that?

'cause the only progress I made was with Rebecca and Dave! And they're both... you know.

[ A Historian and Dead, respectively. ]

Heh, sorry I'm not pulling my weight.

[disclosures]

[Is he?? She'll mime sleeping.

How many beds has he managed so far?

Before holding up one, two, three fingers.]

[ Natsuo flashes her a victory sign!

aka he's only managed the two. ]

Just one more! Souji says it's okay if I come over, so I've got that to look forward to! I'm almost done!

Something like that, yes.

[ waver doesn’t seem to be too outwardly surprised by the group of people in the library. even akechi’s presence doesn’t incite much reaction from him. ]

What a wonderful little reunion. [ can you feel the sarcasm, guys? because waver might as well be drowning in it ]

Isn't it?! I'm glad we all finally got together! Now we don't have to work along anymore!

[ He's glad? So everybody else must be too. With so many people here, it's like a load being taken off his shoulders, and he's grateful. ]

[ good lord the sarcasm just flies over this kid’s head. waver sighs, dragging a hand down his face. ]

That’s correct. It will be much easier to complete our tasks with each other’s help— what task do you have to do?

[ he’s also giving her a very sour look. ]

I think I’ve made it out of one too many “wars” unscathed. My luck will most definitely run out some day.

[ a shrug ]

[AND AFTER EVERYONE HAS ARRIVED. . . Akechi unfurls his parchment to show everyone the notes he's taken thus far. wow! such notes!!]

I don't know how useful this information will be in the future, but perhaps some of it can help us understand this game a little more.

Then she'll make a gesture at Lord El Melloi II, he's seen her do this particular gesture before.

Two fingers up on each hand, slashes through both middle fingers, tucks the middle fingers away. Put the two index fingers together.

[ good lord that’s a lot to put together. waver hopes that his cherades skills are good enough to correctly interpret her. ]

I believe she’s implying that the fairy godmother is the one responsible for saving those that are partnerless. Like... tying loose strings together.

I knew Dave's objective, but that doesn't matter anymore...

[ looks to Akechi ]

I could proclaim my love to you?

You have to mean it.

[and yes, he clarified with the Crafters :/]

Words are meaningless if there is no warm feeling associated with "love" accompanying them.

[though to be fair, they didn't specify which kind of love]

I have more information than this, though I suppose for now I will begin with objectives.

Fane's objective is to spread baseless rumors. Souji's is to execute two in those farcical executions. Clearly, neither of them has any intentions of doing so. My own is to restrain someone and allow them to be killed. I do not intend to do that one, either.
