[Akechi is already there by the time people start filing in, his parchment sitting in his lap, quill tucked between his fingers. he doesn't say anything at first, but PRESUMING at some point he and Natsuo exchanged Historian names with each other and then told the others who was part of this group so they'd all know prior to the meeting, he nods at each one in turn]

The ones I received when I wished for a clue pointing to another Historian. The well gave me Sousei-san's scars in response.

[ again, waver looks shocked for a second. he then shakes his head, mumbling something like “damn that well”, but, finally, he sighs, shrugging ]

I see. I don’t believe I need to tell you to not to waste that sort of kind gesture. [ a pause ] I...cannot fix his wounds completely, that much I know. However, I will do my best.

[hahaha let's not tell Waver that Ion's objective being "die" meant that Akechi considered killing him last week. thankfully, his complicated feelings of grate. . . fulness. . . towards Ion held him back]
