[AND SO, history repeats itself, and the long-awaited reunion of the past murder game's alumni occurs. . .]

[Akechi is already there by the time people start filing in, his parchment sitting in his lap, quill tucked between his fingers. he doesn't say anything at first, but PRESUMING at some point he and Natsuo exchanged Historian names with each other and then told the others who was part of this group so they'd all know prior to the meeting, he nods at each one in turn]

I imagine you all have been quite busy these past two weeks?

[ waver doesn’t seem to be too outwardly surprised by the group of people in the library. even akechi’s presence doesn’t incite much reaction from him. ]

What a wonderful little reunion. [ can you feel the sarcasm, guys? because waver might as well be drowning in it ]

Isn't it?! I'm glad we all finally got together! Now we don't have to work along anymore!

[ He's glad? So everybody else must be too. With so many people here, it's like a load being taken off his shoulders, and he's grateful. ]

[ good lord the sarcasm just flies over this kid’s head. waver sighs, dragging a hand down his face. ]

That’s correct. It will be much easier to complete our tasks with each other’s help— what task do you have to do?

I get to host sleepovers! I'm almost done, too! Can I sleep with you?

[ she’s the one with the pants in the partnership, not him. ]

[ waver hesitates for a second, but finally gives in. ]

I must find the person with the title of “Humpty Dumpty” and heal them from the injuries they’ve sustained.

[ well that’s more than waver expects anyways.

he nods. ]

In the end it’s impossible to go against the wishes of the Crafters, hm? [ a pause ] Which title do you have, Akechi?

[doublecrows]

[and he shifts, looking a bit uncomfortable, before he answers]

[ waver doesn’t know much about ballet, but he does know the gist of it and... he has no idea how that relates with akechi. ]

I believe that titles were given because they have something to do with us— do you believe your title relates to you in any way?

Absolutely not.

[that is. an immediate and firm response from Akechi, wow]

Tiger-san chose my title. She gave it to me because she thinks it's funny.

So you are implying that there is no logic to how titles are chosen? [ S I G H ] I suppose I expected too much from the Crafters.

[She gestures at everybody here, makes a round circle with her fingers and then puts up 2 fingers.

I think I’ve made it out of one too many “wars” unscathed. My luck will most definitely run out some day.

I suppose we are here because of "luck", to begin with.

[Though he hates that.]

Surviving one game only to be thrust into another in a more dangerous role is aggravating.

[londonstar]

Especially when you take into consideration how aggravating the Crafters are on their own. [ he shakes his head, frowning ] I can only imagine what will happen now that we've all come together.
