[Week 2, Tuesday: Waver, Sousei, Rebecca, Natsuo]
[AND SO, history repeats itself, and the long-awaited reunion of the past murder game's alumni occurs. . .]

[Akechi is already there by the time people start filing in, his parchment sitting in his lap, quill tucked between his fingers. he doesn't say anything at first, but PRESUMING at some point he and Natsuo exchanged Historian names with each other and then told the others who was part of this group so they'd all know prior to the meeting, he nods at each one in turn]
I imagine you all have been quite busy these past two weeks?

I don't know how useful this information will be in the future, but perhaps some of it can help us understand this game a little more.

She'll flip to Cinderella and circle a finger around "Fairy God Mother"
"Partner".
Then she'll make a gesture at Lord El Melloi II, he's seen her do this particular gesture before.
Two fingers up on each hand, slashes through both middle fingers, tucks the middle fingers away. Put the two index fingers together.
Connect partnerless.]

I believe she’s implying that the fairy godmother is the one responsible for saving those that are partnerless. Like... tying loose strings together.

Does she know who has that title?

She points at herself and the points to the word "partner" in the book in front of her.

Do you know if there are any restrictions on how many partnerless Narrators she can save?

[ looks to Akechi ]
I could proclaim my love to you?

[and yes, he clarified with the Crafters :/]
Words are meaningless if there is no warm feeling associated with "love" accompanying them.
[though to be fair, they didn't specify which kind of love]

[ HE HAS STRONG FEELINGS OF... SOMETHING............
platonic love, maybe, but maybe the Crafters will accept nothing but Akeichi ]

I-- crying doesn't seem like anything remotely close to "love?"
[NOT THAT AKECHI WOULD KNOW, BUT. . .]

[ or, taking a step back, have you ever loved? ]

I believe it's time we change the subject, don't you, Natsuo-san?

I have more information than this, though I suppose for now I will begin with objectives.
Fane's objective is to spread baseless rumors. Souji's is to execute two in those farcical executions. Clearly, neither of them has any intentions of doing so. My own is to restrain someone and allow them to be killed. I do not intend to do that one, either.

[ waver grimaces ]
However, baseless rumors are not that difficult and are not necessarily harmful. [ he smirks ] The Crafters deserve some about them.

[Hmm...!!]

[ he's so petty. So. Petty. ]

You have no intention of carrying out your objective?
Isn't it our job to ensure they're completed?
[historian objectives included!!]

[Bah.]
I am not sold on doing what they are asking of us to begin with. I have yet to receive a straight answer on what the "happy ending" they are promising is. It is certainly not worth an innocent life.
