[Week 5, Sunday: Hikage]

[hi, Hikage. there's a creeper lingering in the shadows of a castle hallway, waiting for the chance to speak with you. Akechi please get a better hobby that doesn't involve stalking people]

You're the Alchemist, aren't you?

[Week 5, Sunday: Waver, Rebecca, Natsuo]

[he knows that Waver is. . . probably not in the best state of mind at the moment. but what Akechi has to share is Important with a capital I. and so, soon after the execution, he gathers up the remaining Historians and ushers them to the library for an information sharing session]

I apologize for the short notice, and the. . . [waves. a hand] Timing of this meeting.

But I've discovered how to reach a "happy ending" for this game. I've also learned about the other extra titles, much like our own, that exist in this war game.

I'd rather not wait until Monday to tell you all.

[Week 5, Friday: Eichi]

[Akechi was around for the headcount. he lingered long enough to confirm the corpses as Jae-Ha and Sousei. and after that? he vanishes]

[but he can be found again later that night, in their shared room, sitting on the edge of the bed with a folded piece of paper in hand. he's staring at it with a distance expression, but is also clutching it so tightly it's getting kind of crinkled]

[huh]

[Week 5, Friday: Belph]

[there's a ~spooky~ detective hanging out in the shadows calling out your name this evening]

Belph-san.

[Week 5, Friday: Varian]

[THE PC THAT AL CAN'T TAG BECAUSE SHE'S MIA THIS WEEKEND BUT REALLY NEEDS TO HAPPEN]

[Akechi is curt today, his tone clipped and businesslike]

[Week 5, Thursday: Cardia]

[as usual, Akechi watches as the injured tumble out of those doors and back into the castle. and as usual, he keeps his distance, and doesn't approach or fret or even offer to help in order to avoid the crowds that gather around them]

[unlike as usual. . . the next day, Akechi seeks Cardia out, wherever she may be]

Miss Cardia. . .?

[Week 5, Tuesday: Ion (nicer)]

[I MADE THIS TUESDAY SO IT WON'T INTERFERE WITH MEMORIES]

[anyway, Akechi's in the kitchen. his second favorite plate in this castle, other than the library! come say hi, Ion the nicer]

[Week 5, Tuesday: Ion (fon master)]

[Akechi sure does spend a lot of time in the library. and, in particular, around that leather-bound book that no one can remove from the podium. he's read the words inked onto the pages hundreds of time by now, like he's trying to make sense of something. and yet. . . whatever it is he's trying to figure out won't come to him]

[he's easy to find. come bother him, Fon Master Ion!1]

[Week 5, Tuesday: Sousei]

[it's late in the evening when Akechi seeks out Sousei. and fortunately, this time he isn't hidden in the shadows to spook him. hooray!!]

Sousei-san. I spoke to Belph-san recently.

[Week 5, Tuesday: Hikage]

[Akechi's been quiet over the past week. of course he has; there hasn't been much excitement in the castle ever since the last trial. but things are ramping up again, and on this fine Tuesday, he tracks Hikage down wherever he may be in the manor]

Hikage-san. I certainly hope your vacation was satisfactory.

[Week 5, Tuesday: Belph]

[SUP BELPH. it's just the detective you wanted to see!!]

[Week 3, Sunday: Rebecca]

[SO I HEAR ONE HISTORIAN IS LOOKING FOR THE OTHER]

[Akechi's easy to find, at least. he's in the library, staring at an open book without actually reading or seeing it. have at him, Rebecca]

[Week 3, Sunday: Cardia]

[. . . it's after the execution that he comes find her, expression muted, voice low. he's obviously still affected, even if he's trying to seem unflappable]

Miss Cardia. A moment of your time?

[Week 3, Friday: 2B]

[there is only one person Akechi seeks out after the announcement]

I assume Monika wasn't you?

[Week 3, Monday: Natsuo]

[like a moron, Akechi had avoided Natsuo post-execution, and had probably tried not to look at him too much during the Historian meeting. but now. . . now, Akechi is all alone as he walks down the hallway to the kitchen]

[it's the perfect time to pounce]

[Week 2, Sunday: Fitzgerald]

[HELLO FTIZGERALD. where are you?? it doesn't matter, because Akechi is coming for you anyway]

I suppose that makes us more similar than we may have first thought, hm?

[Week 2, Sunday: Jae-Ha]

[Akechi still has that black eye Ann gave him, tbh. but it's fading a little bit, at the very least! he also seems a lot calmer, a lot more composed than he was at the end of last week's trial, so. . . win?]

[anyway, Jae-Ha you should bug Akechi while he's in the kitchen fixing himself something to drink. coffee today. because coffee superiority]

[Week 2, Friday: Rapunzel]

[Akechi is quiet]

[it's not unusual for him to be lost in thought, but there's something more somber about the way he carries himself to day. the news of Natsuo's death weights heavily on his back for reasons he understands but can't explain, reasons he gets but can't accept]

[so he shuffles to the kitchen to make himself a gd pot of coffee]

[it should be pretty easy to find him. what say you, Rapunzel?]

[Week 2, Friday: Eichi]

[soooo Akechi learned about the dead body from someone else, somewhere else]

[and as soon as he does, he is seeking out Eichi, his movements almost frantic]

Tenshouin-- Tenshouin. Where are you?

[Week 2, Monday: Fane]

[sometime after the execution, Akechi approaches his skeleton buddy, a nice new black eye still decorating his features. it's fashionable]

Fane-san, I have your answer.
